Lita Ford Bites Deep

Just in time for Halloween comes ‘Dracula’, the new single from Lita Ford, with an album on the way, the guitarist having signed to Frontiers Music Srl.

“It’s been a long journey to create this magical dark fairytale album for everyone to enjoy,” said Ford. “I needed the perfect team to make that happen and to help give this powerful record a life it deserves. I am so happy to say I have officially sealed the deal with Frontiers Music Srl, as we are thrilled, excited and ready to rise with the first new single… Brace yourself.”

“We are incredibly proud to welcome Lita Ford to the Frontiers Label Group family,” said Jeff Stevenson, GM of Frontiers Label Group. “Lita is a true rock icon, an artist whose influence, musicianship, and unmistakable attitude have inspired generations of fans and musicians around the world. Beyond her extraordinary legacy, what excites us most is that Lita continues to look forward creatively. We’re honoured that she has chosen Frontiers for this next chapter, and we can’t wait for fans to hear what she has in store.”

Featuring Ford on guitar and vocals, alongside Gary Hoey who also produced, with Bobby Rock on drums, ‘Dracula’ was mixed by Max Norman and is out now.

Lita Ford’s career was kickstarted when she became lead guitarist with groundbreaking all-female rock band The Runaways, from 1976 to 1979. Her solo career began in 1983, with 1984 album Dancin’ On The Edge receiving a Grammy nomination and the hit single ‘Gotta Let Go’. 1988’s self-titled Lita was a multi-platinum success, scoring further hit singles, notably ‘Close My Eyes Forever’, her celebrated duet with Ozzy Osbourne. It was followed by further albums securing further Grammy nominations, with Ford receiving several awards for her guitar playing.
