Terrifying Angels has landed and so too has progressive alternative rockers Pure Reason Revolution’s second single from that album, ‘Black-Arrow Acrobats’, both out now via InsideOut Music.
The core trio of Jon Courtney, Annicke Shireen and Ravi Kesavaram are joined by a cast of collaborators for the album, featuring old friends and new partners alike. Notably, ‘Black-Arrow Acrobats’ features bass guitar from Mariusz Duda (Lunatic Soul, Riverside).
Band leader Jon Courtney commented: “I had a lot of fun creating this track. It came together quickly and became a rollercoaster full of surprises. Lyrically, it explores escaping a consuming relationship where grief blurs reality and fantasy.
“It’s my favourite on the album, and Mariusz Duda’s exquisite bass performance makes it even more special.”
