London metal project MeK has released its debut single and music video, ‘Unawaken’.
Led by Faust, MeK combines contemporary heavy music with electronic, industrial and cinematic influences. ‘Unawaken’ is the first piece of a wider audiovisual concept, MeK // CONSTRUCT, which brings the music and visuals together as one world.
The project has already made a strong start online. Ahead of the debut release, its introductory TRANSMISSION campaign drew more than 140,000 views across social platforms in its first two weeks.
With heavy riffs, industrial textures and a cinematic scope, ‘Unawaken’ is an intriguing first glimpse of what MeK has in store.
‘Unawaken’ and its official music video are out now.
