Sicilian alt-rockers Partinico Rose has released new single, ‘Undeclinable Ways‘ on Riot Records and you can check out the video here at RAMzine.
An acoustic sound composed of ethereal guitars and a dreamy cello, it’s said to create a “blade of melancholy that transports the listener to another world”. The lyrics of ‘Undeclinable Ways’ speak about the inevitability of events and were written during the days of lockdown, when all days seemed the same.
You can order the single here.
From Ragusa in Sicily, the band is led by vocalist/guitarist Vincenzo Cannizzo with bass player Massimo Russo and drummer Carlo Schembari, and also features guest appearances from Martina Monaca.
Active since 2015, all three members are long time musicians, coming from other projects such as The Stark, Carnival Ends and Enfant Terrible.
Partinico Rose’s self-produced debut album titled Songs For Sad And Angry People was released back in December 2019, and their second due this year.
Their music has been described as “a mix an alternative/darkwave rock sound that harks back to the likes of Killing Joke, Bauhaus, and Nick Drake.”
Previous single ‘Rebuild’ was described as having a “solid sound featuring grungy/noisy guitars and bludgeoning bass and drums”. You can stream/buy it here and check out the video here at RAMzine.
