President have announced their biggest UK and European headline shows to date, a thirteen-date run this autumn in support of debut album Blood Of Your Empire, due 4 September via Atlantic Records.
Fresh from their first full US run supporting Bad Omens, the masked collective return stateside for a sold-out headline trek before heading to Europe and the UK. The European leg opens in Stockholm on 1 November and finishes at London’s O2 Academy Brixton, with UK dates also taking in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham across 18 to 24 November.
Operating under a deliberate veil of minimalism and anonymity since launching in 2025, President sit at the meeting point of heavy music, electronic experimentation and cinematic atmosphere, letting the songs do the talking across a run of singles and live shows. Recent single ‘Doom Loop‘ is the latest offering, described by the band as being about the strange tragedy of time, how we spend our lives chasing it, wasting it and fearing it, only to realise its value once a moment has gone. It’s a reminder, they say, to be present while actually living, not just remembering afterwards.
Blood Of Your Empire was born, in the band’s words, out of their own struggle with existential crisis and an attempt to make sense of belief, mortality and humanity’s relationship with faith, an album living in the tension between religion as a source of compassion and beauty and a source of suffering and bloodshed. The ten-track record features ‘Angel Wings‘, ‘Mercy‘ and ‘Doom Loop‘, with ‘Hate Figure‘ guesting Ando San.
We flagged the album when it landed, and the jump to rooms this size says plenty about the momentum behind a band still keeping its identity firmly under wraps. The anonymity could read as a gimmick, but the songs so far suggest there’s real substance underneath, and a Brixton finale shows no small ambition.
UK and European dates run from 1 to 24 November. Pre-sale begins 27 May, with general sale from 29 May.
