Electric Mary’s Rusty Brown joins Shotgun Mistress on Mary Jane

Aussie rockers Shotgun Mistress has a new single out in ‘Mary Jane’, the third track taken from their sophomore album Kings Of The Revolution, that’s out now. 

Rusty Brown of Electric Mary contributes vocals to the new single that offers a powerful blend of bluesy riffs and rock vigour, capturing the dynamic energy of the band and enhancing the momentum from their recent media appearances.

Shotgun Mistress formed in 2020, fuelled by guitarist Matt Wilcock, rhythm section Dave Lee and Ben Curnow and frontman Glenn Patrick. Their debut roared onto the Australian charts, with ‘No Friend Of Mine’ soaring to #13 on the Independent Air Singles Charts, setting a high bar for the hits to follow. ‘Save Me From Myself’ dominated at #1 on the iTunes Rock Charts and #12 on Spotify’s esteemed Hard Rock Playlist, demonstrating the group’s wide ranging appeal. ‘Glorious Machine’, ‘Collide’, and ‘Bleed Me Out’ continued to set the charts ablaze, validating Shotgun Mistress’s reputation.

Riding high from sold-out shows with Electric Mary and Palace Of The KingShotgun Mistress is gearing up for an epic 2024, with tour dates imminent in Japan. With new album Kings Of Revolution set to drop in June, the band has a packed year ahead with national and international tours. February saw them touring nationwide, sharing the stage with rock icons like Slaughter, Lynch Mob, H.E.A.T, and others at Glamfest.
