SIKTH – UK tour this October!

UK tech-metal godfathers SikTh have released a short promo video for their upcoming UK tour inOctober/November, part of ‘Download Freezes Over 2014’.

Compiled and edited by SikTh (co)frontman Mikee utilising live material sent in by fans, it features footage from the band’s recent performances at both Download & Tech-fest…

Mikee: “We have been so pleased with the crowd responses at the last two shows. It’s been incredible to see just how passionate people are. I guess a lot of them have never seen SikTh before. The energy feels better than ever, and we’re really looking forward to these upcoming shows!”

Dan Weller: “We cannot wait for the tour. We feel like we’re playing better than ever and really want to give everyone a great time.”

In addition, the debut SikTh album, ‘The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out Wait For Something Wild’, will be re-issued via Spinefarm Records on October 27th. Originally released back in 2003, the record – featuring seminal tracks such as ‘Hold My Finger’, ‘Scent Of The Obscene’, ‘Pussyfoot’ & ‘When Will The Forest Speak’? – is now recognised as a hugely influential, ground-breaking release; this new version will be available as 2-CD set featuring extensive bonus audio content plus enhanced packaging. A double LP version will follow early in 2015.
