Departing from their signature gritty distorted sound, Spanish rockers This Drama embark on a new artistic direction with Loose Talk, their new six track EP out now through Golden Robot Records.
The band is said to have delivered “their most emotionally charged and compelling work to date” on the EP, crafted as it was under the expert guidance of Grammy-nominated producer/mixer Alex Newport (Bloc Party, At The Drive-In, The Mars Volta), and mastered by Gavin Lurssen (Queens Of The StoneAge, Foo Fighters) at Lurssen Mastering (Los Angeles, CA), and recorded by Daniel Ferreiro at Manzana Recording Studios.
Since their rise in 2005, This Drama has seemingly become an unstoppable force in the music scene. Their debut single ‘Radio Explodes’ made its premiere on BBC 6 Rock Show curated by none other than Bruce Dickinson, of Iron Maiden fame.
The band quickly gained recognition, achieving milestones such as winning the top spot at the prestigious Rock Awards in Madrid and embarking on extensive tours across the United States, including a notable showcase at SXSW. Collaborations with esteemed artists such as Joby Ford, Jag Jago, and Cancer Bats guitarist Scott Middleton have further expanded their creative horizons.
