YES Reschedule UK Tour for 2021

Originally scheduled to kick off this month in Liverpool, progressive rock giant YES announced that they will reinstate their intended UK tour in celebration of their 1974 Relayer hitalbum’s anniversary a year down the road with them opening in Manchester on 16th May 2021.

Rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic, as have a series of European dates, the shows will go out under the banner-head The Album Series 2021 Tour and feature Relayer in its entirety together with a selection of other classic favourites.

“Many things have changed in the world these past few months. My appreciation for the freedoms we’ve enjoyed in the past has grown along with my gratitude for all the people caring for humanity throughout the world,”said drummer Alan White.

“I can’t wait to be on stage again in front of real audiences playing YES music. I’m hoping we can bring some joy and positivity back into our lives.” He continued, adding, ““Please take care and stay safe, we want to see our many fans and friends again in 2021!”

White will be joined by vocalist Jon Davison, guitarist Steve Howe, bass guitarist and backing vocalist Billy Sherwood, keyboard player Geoff Downes, plus Schellen on additional drums and percussion.

The show will comprise two sets by the band with full production and a high definition video wall.  The first will feature favourite classic tracks, the second dedicated to Relayer.

All tickets for 2020 remain valid for 2021, while new reservations can be made at bookingsdirect.com in the UK,  with meet and greets packages available through yesworld.com
