Seattle rocker Ayron Jones will release his new album, Excuse Me, on 26 February 2027. The first taste is new single ‘Glad You Came’.
Excuse Me is Jones’ first album in three years, and the first he has made entirely on his own terms. Recorded in Nashville with producer Marty Fredrickson, it’s gritty in both sound and substance. Its working class anthems reflect on his own journey through tough times, while taking a hard look at the unsettling era we’re living in.
Expect stories of powder keg tension, toxic relationships, economic pressure, anger and isolation, all delivered through Jones’ swaggering, soulful vocals. As ever, his sound refuses to sit in one box, pulling together grunge, hard rock, metal, blues, punk, soul, R&B and hip hop.
Jones broke through during the pandemic and has since climbed the rock charts and opened for Guns N’ Roses and The Rolling Stones. He earned an iHeartRadio Music Awards nomination for Best New Rock Artist and became the first Black solo artist to top Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
‘Glad You Came’ is out now.
