We’re pretty sure Bloodstock Open Air are trying to get in the record books for ‘most stacked festival bill of 2020’ by announcing six more bands.
Firstly we are treated to Kentucky traditional heavy metal band Savage Master, opening the Ronnie James Dio Stage on Saturday.
From Italy, we have blackened-death metallers Blasphemer play the Sophie Lancaster stage on Sunday.
Joining them on Sunday are Midlands based modern rockers, Liberty Lies.
Also on the Sophie stage on Sunday, is doom metal from Hull in the form of Black Tongue.
Bury riff-lords Pist will also play Sophie stage on Sunday.
Finally, also playing the Sophie stage on Sunday, are genre-spanning Italians Sharks In Your Mouth.
Bloodstock are also very proud to announce their new charity partner is the mental health charity Mind. Part of this will be the ‘Patch Amnesty’ where you can bring your old, spare, or new patches to donate, browse patches to buy, or even just stop by for a chat. This is a great way to build your own and help others build battle jackets, as well as make new friends. Maria Khosla, Community fundraising Manager for Mind had this to say:
“We are grateful to the organisers of Bloodstock Festival and to Michael Lacy from Patch Amnesty for choosing to support Mind at this year’s event. One in four of us will experience a mental health problem every year so their support in raising funds and awareness means we can continue to make sure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.”
