Cancer Bats: Making ‘Searching For Zero’

With the release of ‘Searching For Zero’ in the not so distant future – Cancer Bats add to the anticipation with an insight in to the making of their 5th studio record.

Check out episode one and two and three of a series of webisodes about the making of the new record, right here!

Having already launched videos for ‘Satellites’ and ‘True Zero’ the Canadians have firmly planted themselves back on the scene and are poised to burst eardrums worldwide with a record that we’d expect to be nothing less than brilliantly savage.

So what do we expect from this new album? The album is touted to be as big as the previous incarnations, and more. The choruses are hookier, the screams more savage, the riffs more vicious, the songs more powerful. Having worked with legendary multi-platinum producer Ross Robinson, the bats will maintain massively popular elements of their sound and add a hint of more melodic vocal tone – an influence that comes from the band’s admiration for Ozzy Ozbourne fronted ‘Black Sabbath’.This being said, don’t expect the record to be anything other than brutal and barbaric.

‘Searching For Zero‘ comes out on the 9th March on Noise Church Records and this will be followed by a co-headline tour with ‘While She Sleeps’.
