Atlanta guitarist, singer and songwriter Eddie 9V has announced a UK headline tour for March 2027, ahead of his new album Down Here, out on 6 November via Easy Eye Sound.
“I’m really excited to be back in Europe. European audiences have always treated me with so much respect, and I love the quality of the food over there. I end up eating more and somehow losing weight!” he laughs. “But in all seriousness, it’s been too long since we’ve played over there. The new music has been going over really well live, and I can’t wait to debut it for you all.”
Down Here was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and recorded live at his Easy Eye Sound Studio in Nashville. It expands on Eddie’s Southern soul, blues, rock and roll, funk and R&B roots, with help from soul blues guitarist Marcus King and veteran songwriters Pat McLaughlin and Daniel Tashian. Latest single ‘Satisfy The Way I Do’ follows ‘Rock Your Baby’, ‘Blowin’ Up’ and ‘Whole Lot Coming For You’.
Eddie picked up the guitar at six, played everything from metal to indie rock, and then discovered Howlin’ Wolf‘s legendary 1966 Newport Folk Festival performance and turned to the blues.
