Gen2 Play Royally

Established in Melbourne, Australia in 2016, Gen2 is a band that’s said to deliver rock for the modern age. Combining high-energy guitar rock with strong funk bass undertones, Gen2’s original music combines powerful drums and funk bass grooves with crafted guitars and vocals.

The band has just released a cover of Lorde mega hit ‘Royals’ on X-Ray Records.

Adding another dimension to the track, Gen2 take a hard rock approach with grit and style while still honouring the original.

‘Royals’ will appear on Gen2′s much anticipated EP Future History Repeating – Part I, with the EP currently being finalised in production and expected to be out in the world sometime in 2023. Under the watchful eye of X-Ray Records, there are some big, loud, demand-to-be-heard rock tunes expected from Gen2 – stay tuned.

You can stream/buy ‘Royals’ here.

Renowned for the quality and energy of their live performances, Gen2 have rapidly gained a reputation as one of Australia’s most dynamic and exciting live rock acts. Gen2 is a band that focuses as much on quality live performance and production, as they do on presentation.
