Three more names have landed on the bill for Damnation 2026, with German black metallers Groza, Spanish death metal force Wormed and German doom outfit Coltaine all confirmed for the festival’s 21st edition.
Wormed join the Saturday on 7 November, a day that has already sold out and boasts Cult of Luna, Carcass, Health, Crowbar and The Berzerker. Groza and Coltaine bolster the Sunday, slotting in alongside Satyricon, Igorrr, Triptykon, Walls of Jericho and Wolves In The Throne Room.
All three make their Damnation debut. Groza step in for Lamp of Murmuur, who pulled out over the travel red tape now facing acts moving between territories for European shows.
Organiser Gavin McInally called it the strongest bill the festival has assembled, pointing to the Saturday selling out by June as a sign of momentum. He added that, while nothing is taken for granted, he expects the remaining Sunday and weekend tickets to follow before long.
A limited number of Sunday and weekend tickets remain for the event, which returns to BEC Arena in Manchester. With the Saturday already gone and the extreme end of the spectrum well represented across both days, we reckon the stragglers will not hang around.
