Ice Nine Kills score Halloween Horror Nights

Ice Nine Kills are bringing their collision of razor-edged heavy music, horror and theatrical scale to Universal Studios Hollywood, scoring new music for ‘Terror Tram starring Art The Clown’ at Halloween Horror Nights.

The experience opens on 3rd September and runs select nights through to 1st November. The infamous Terror Tram returns with a new host in Art the Clown, the demented killer from the Terrifier films, who arrives at the historic Universal backlot with his blood-soaked bag of presents, decides it is too early for Christmas and hijacks the tram for his own holiday celebration. Ice Nine Kills provide the soundtrack, putting a dark twist on classic Christmas songs, while guests who think they have escaped may still find Art lurking elsewhere in the park.

The pairing brings the band back into Art’s orbit after ‘A Work of Art’, their official song from Terrifier 3, which ran up nearly 60 million streams and spent eighteen weeks on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.

“We are forever honoured that Terrifier writer and director Damien Leone and his team invited us to play in their sandbox of bloodshed,” says frontman Spencer Charnas. “Halloween Horror Nights is among our favourite destinations each season, and our fans love it too. This is yet another natural step forward in our unnatural world of horror.”

It caps a remarkable run of horror crossovers, from Scream 7’s ‘Twisting The Knife’ featuring Mckenna Grace, the band’s first Number One on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, to ‘Play Dead’ for Dead by Daylight’s tenth anniversary. With 2026 marking twenty years since their first album, Ice Nine Kills show no sign of leaving horror’s biggest stages.
