The latest addition to the Download Festival roster is none other than Kerry King, the iconic guitarist from Slayer, poised to deliver a blistering performance on stage this year. Accompanying him in the fresh wave of lineup revelations are Creeper with their darkly melodic goth-punk tunes and Bayside, who promise to captivate you with their robust melodies and profound lyrics that will stir your soul into song. Adding a twist to the mix is Bambie Thug, whose fusion of pop flair and rock energy marks her as an extraordinary talent not to be overlooked. Moreover, Soft Play enters the fray! Don’t let their gentle name fool you; they’re set to impress with formidable musical skills that will astonish and please festival-goers.
Also joining the roster is the alternative rock ensemble Lowlives, who boasts alumni from The Defiled, Amen, No Devotion, and The Ataris. They will be accompanied by the Welsh trio Florence Black and Mallavora who are set to enthusiastically kick off performances on the Avalanche Stage come Friday.
