Kerry King Reveals From Hell I Rise Deluxe Edition

Kerry King is giving fans more. The iconic Slayer songwriter and guitarist is releasing an Extended Deluxe Edition of his acclaimed debut solo album From Hell I Rise via Reigning Phoenix Music on 19th June 2026, expanding the record with five previously unheard demos and a fresh visual overhaul that includes new cover artwork by James Bousema and a revamped layout with additional photos.

The five new demos offer something genuinely rare for hardcore Slayer fans and Kerry King followers — a window into the man’s creative process, complete with scratch vocal performances by King himself. According to the label, it’s something he’s been doing for many years, and it’s never been heard outside the studio until now.

Accompanying the Extended Deluxe Edition is a stunning earbook for fans and collectors. Limited to just 666 copies worldwide (because of course it is), the earbook includes 2 LPs, a live CD, and a live Blu-ray of the band’s first ever show at Reggies Chicago. The earbook is exclusive to Reigning Phoenix Music and available for mailorder in Europe and the US.

The From Hell I Rise line-up brings together a serious roster of metal heavyweights: Kerry King on guitar, Paul Bostaph on drums, Kyle Sanders on bass, Phil Demmel on guitar, and Mark Osegueda on vocals.
