The evocative and anxiety-fuelled four-track EP We Created Music for the Films No One Saw by the now-defunct experimental post-rock/lo-fi ambient project Sagntid is out, offering a bleak, introspective journey through lo-fi soundscapes inspired by the notion of being trapped within another person’s poisonous aura.
In the words of J.N.: “The songs are very close to my heart and dear to me in that they represent a transitional phase for me on a profoundly personal level. I could probably throw up all kinds of clever metaphors and impenetrable parables here and be all enigmatic about it, but the songs are in essence musical manifestations of endings and new beginnings; of letting certain things die and moving on in life. How do we lend a voice to the unsaid and the unresolved? How do we deal with lingering doubts that keep us awake at night? Is solace to be found? Something for you to think about while listening to We Created Music for the Films No One Saw.”
We Created Music for the Films No One Saw was released digitally on 15 May 2026.
