Robert Jon & The Wreck will be following the release of their acclaimed studio album Last Light On The Highway, by touring the UK in May 2021.
This California based band, featuring Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals and guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums and background vocals), Steve Maggiora (keyboards and background vocals), Henry James (lead guitar and background vocals), and Warren Murrel (bass), are a little ironically part of the southern rock resurgence.
This blues and country-infused rock ’n’ roll quintet debuted with 2011’s Fire Started, going onto win Best Live Band at the Orange County Music Awards in 2013 and receiving numerous Top 10 chart placements on Southern Rock Brazil’s Top 20 Albums of all places, while also getting to tour worldwide. Their last album, Last Light On The Highway, was reviewed at RAMzine with the lines: “As an emotional experience, this is possibly the best album I’m going to hear this year!”
The second single from the album is ‘Do You Remember’, and as RAMzine’s review stated it has: “hooks aplenty”.
