Arizona extreme metal trailblazers Soulfly have just announced a five date headline UK tour for September 2026. The shows will see the band make stops in Southampton, London, Birmingham, and Glasgow, before finishing up in Manchester. Read about their explosive past performances in the city in our Live: Soulfly at Manchester Academy review. Joining them on this run will be industrial metal project Nailbomb.
This is a massive moment for the UK tribe. The tour arrives in support of the thirteenth Soulfly studio album, Chama, which dropped in October 2025 via Nuclear Blast.
Recorded at the Platinum Underground Studio in Mesa, Arizona by John Aquilino, the record is a true family affair. Chama was produced by Zyon Cavalera and heavy metal mastermind Arthur Rizk. Rizk also handled mixing and mastering duties. Furthermore, Igor Amadeus Cavalera played bass across the tracking.
Max Cavalera remains the undisputed riff warlord, a legacy we explored deeply in our Cavalera: A family bonded by Morbid Devastation feature, and this album proved to be an explosive return to the band’s primal roots. Featuring ferocious guest appearances from Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares and Nails vocalist Todd Jones, Chama explores dark tribal grooves on tracks like ‘Indigenous Inquisition‘, ‘Nihilist‘, and the blistering ‘Black Hole Scum‘.
