Canadian rock heavyweights Theory Of A Deadman are heading back to the UK. The Barricade Tour kicks off in February 2027 at Nottingham’s Rock City, the band’s first UK run since their 2023 tour, promising hard rock anthems, raw energy and decades of fan favourites.
Formed in 1999 in North Delta, British Columbia, the multi-platinum quartet of Tyler Connolly, Dave Brenner, Dean Back and Joey Dandeneau built their following on a blend of post-grunge, hard rock and alternative metal. They’ve racked up twelve Top 10 hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart, including four number ones in ‘Bad Girlfriend‘, ‘Lowlife‘, ‘History Of Violence‘ and ‘Rx (Medicate)‘, the last earning a Rock Song of the Year nomination at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Their sound has evolved well beyond the heavy riffs of the early days, taking in pop, acoustic and country storytelling along the way.
The run lands behind their hard-hitting new single ‘Barricade‘, which marks a fresh chapter. It builds from restrained verses into a massive, cathartic chorus, holding the push-and-pull at the heart of the song while keeping an arena-ready punch.
“We cannot wait to get back to the UK and Europe to play again for some of the greatest fans on the planet. It’s been way too long,” says Tyler Connolly.
The Barricade Tour 2027 dates:
Feb 5 — Nottingham, Rock City
Feb 6 — Glasgow, Garage
Feb 7 — Sheffield, Corporation
Feb 9 — Manchester, O2 Ritz
Feb 11 — London, Shepherd’s Bush Empire
Feb 12 — Wolverhampton, KK’s Steel Mill
Feb 13 — Torquay, Arena
A band with this many rock-radio staples in the locker tends to make for a riotous live night, and a seven-date run hitting rooms like Rock City and Shepherd’s Bush should be a treat for long-time fans and newcomers alike.
