Yard Of Blondes is a French/California, USA alternative rock configuration whose latest release is new single ‘Do You Need More‘, out now on Die Laughing Records.

Featuring Vincent Jacob (Vocals/guitar), Burak Yerebakan (Guitar) and Forrest Mitchell (Drums/vocals) and Fanny Hill (bass/vocals), Yard Of Blondes can reminded you of bands such as Sonic Youth, The Pixies and The Smashing Pumpkins at times.
The band has released 4 EPs since 2011, and were featured along with Eric Burdon (The Animals) and Victoria Williams on the Hi-Desert compilation Highway 62 Love Songs, with things beginning to move up another level in 2013, when Rodney Bingenheimer, legendary KROQ DJ, began playing their track ‘Murderology’ followed by more than 100 international radio stations.
In 2014 French National TV France4 broadcasted a 60 minutes documentary about the band and in 2016 they were featured on the compilation I Love You All The Time along with Eagles Of Death Metal, Florence & The Machine, Kings Of Leon, Jimmy Eat World and other.s All the proceeds were given to the victims of the Paris attacks.
The summer of 2019, saw their first original bilingual song, a lighter and upbeat single called ‘Je Veux Danser Tout L’été’ and a remix by French superstar DJ and producer Joachim Garraud (David Bowie, Beyonce, David Guetta). The track is still broadcasted on French National channels.
Later that year, they released the first single off upcoming album Feed The Moon. The song featured a special guest in Davy Portela (Pleymo); both the song and the video were well received, especially in USA, France and Latin America. The song was plugged into 74 Spotify playlists and reached #1 in the USA College Radios charts on February 1st 2020. They followed this with another single in ‘Lowland’ that reached #6 in the USA College Radios charts and is currently being played on 200+ radios all over the world, acceding new territories through major stations airplays in Japan.
Having signed with Die Laughing Records this year, in July they released the EP Close to Home a live session recorded during the quarantine. It features songs that will appear on their forthcoming album, Feed The Moon, that will feature latest single ‘Do You Need More?’.
