Nottingham quintet Catch Fire have released their debut EP this month, titled The Distance I Am From You.
Teaming up with Rude Records for their debut, the EP consists of 4 tracks, including lead single, ‘Bad Behaviour.’
The band themselves formed just this year, and guitarist Tim Bell says:
“We have a burning desire to write and play music. It’s really as simple as that. I don’t think any of us can see ourselves doing anything other than this.”
While the band name may be reminiscent of the Hunger Games franchise, Tim says it came from something much closer to home:
“Neal is ginger, and there isn’t a day that goes by where we don’t verbally assault him for it. Neal walked into practice one day, and Ash said “Neal, I think your head’s caught fire”. That’s it. Band name sorted.”
