Sirensong March into the Sun

Hailing from South Wales, and having got together only this year, Sirensong blend  hard rock, metal and electronica with hooks – we’re reliably informed “that’ll live in your head rent free”. Well, it sounds like they plan on sticking around because they’ve just released their second single, ‘March Into The Sun‘.

It’s been described as a powerful tune with a darker tale of foreboding and revolution, where we all need to stand up and be counted. “There’s corruption from people in power everywhere we turn. It’s time we all make a stand for what we believe in. After all, a leader without their minions is just a minion themself,” according to lead vocalist Alice Freya.

Available digitally, you can check out the lyric video here at RAMzine.

It comes not long after their debut single ‘Won’t Let You Wake Up‘, a song about mental health from the perspective of anxiety itself, giving the listener a creepy new twist alongside some big riffs and soaring melodies. Available digitally, you can also check out the video for that one here at RAMzine.

Sirensong consists of formermembers of Last Flight To Pluto and Malum Sky, featuring powerhouse vocalist Alice Freya, guitarists Ryan Barnard & Jon Evans, bassist Billy George and drummer Darren Joseph.

Between the five members, they’ve played at some impressive festivals across the UK & Europe including Bloodstock, Crescendo and Planet Rock’s Winters End. They’ve worked alongside the likes of Jason James (Bullet For My Valentine/Kill The Lights) and have appeared on the same bill as Ghost, Skindred, Testament, Megadeth, and Kris Barras. Sirensong is currently making the finishing touches to their debut album, that is being recorded by Tim Hamill at Sonic One Studio and due for release later this year. Tours and live shows are currently being booked.
