Metal Blade Records have announced the signing of US metal band Slough Feg, for a worldwide record deal.
Three of the band’s early recordings (Twilight of the Idols, 1999, Down Among the Deadmen, 2000, and Traveller, 2003) will also be released as a three CD box set. They will also be released as individual albums digitally, via digital retailers. Bundled with the CD boxset, fans can also get their hands on a special The Lord Weird Slough Feg t-shirt.
Hailing from Pennyslvania/San Fransisco, Slough Feg aim to take a stand against the trend-led side of the US metal scene with lyrical depth and energetic delivery, mixing Celtic folk sounds with traditional metal. As part of their record deal, the band will also be recording new material. Guitarist Mike Scalzi comments, ” The new material will be standard Feg-Fare— that is, totally non-standard!!”
