Live Review: The Twin Dracula, at The Bowery District, Reading

The Twin Dracula were the opening band for Anti-Flag at The Bowery District in Reading, this August.

The Berkshire based band promote a heavy punk rock sound. With a strong start, this band don’t waste any time. The band open with ‘Catholic’ – with elements of rock & roll, The Twin Dracula are the perfect pit-starting band. They prove themselves as a great opening band. I can image them fitting in well on the bill, with a range of rock and metal genres. I hope to see them play support at more shows in Reading, and when the time is right play at their own headline.

Loving the action figure on top of the amp, it’s good to show a bit of personality. This is music with substance, it’s hard hitting, and gets you on your feet.

Ending with ‘Newtown Jazz Revival’, there is the chance for a bit of a stomp and sing-a-long, if only a few more people in the room. The Twin Dracula start and finish powerful.

Always get to the show for the first band people! You don’t what you are missing!
