Cats in Space will play with Thunder

That is probably the coolest headline that I will write this week!

The band formed just a few years ago yet have already been on the Stone Free Festival line-up along with many classic rock greats. Keeping up good momentum the band have now been announced as support for Thunder this March (dates below).

Thunder vocalist Danny Bowes previously sang on their version of the classic Slade song ‘How Does It Feel’. Danny told us “I was hooked the first time I heard the Cats in Space album. I thought they were both mental and brave to make such an overtly 70s influenced album, and I loved it”.

Cats in Space’s Greg Hart commented on the tour announcement saying: “The opportunity to tour with Thunder is a dream ticket for us. We’re going to rock you all to the moon and back. It will be purrrrfect!

If you are intrigued at this point and wondering what they sound like, they are generally described as “power pop rock”, but check them out yourself here:

The band are currently in the studio, working on the follow-up to their successful debut ‘Too Many Gods’.
